I started on my teaching journey in the field of special education as a behavior facilitator for nine years. I left education for a time after moving from Utah to Washington, working for Booking.com.

However, I quickly realized how much I missed being in education as I frequently helped and taught her colleagues. I decided to go back to school to earn a Masters of Teaching Math and Science (MTMS) and have now been teaching in WA through the Insight School of Washington for eight years. I am a dog mom to Tucker (Tuck-Tuck) and June (June Bug) and a plant mom to over 150 plants. I enjoy assembling complex Lego with my husband of 17 years, I love to crochet and spends my free time in the garden.
